South Essex Dementia Workshop

The Essex Area Team and East of England Strategic Clinical Network are jointly hosting 2 workshops to support and enable General Practices and Primary Care workers to diagnose dementia in primary care.

There will be opportunity to hear from Professor Alistair Burns on both dates. Dr Sunil Gupta and Thomas Dannhauser are confirmed speakers for the December workshop. Dr Steven Waters, Dr Gupta and Dr Charles Olojugba are confirmed for speakers the January workshop.

GPs, Practice Managers, Nurses, Clinicians and Commissioners are encouraged to attend.

Why Dementia: 2015 and beyond

The East of England Strategic Clinical Network are hosting this regional event to support and enable General Practices, Primary Care workers, Providers and Commissioners to diagnose dementia and consider how post-diagnostic services can be enhanced to support quality of care and the patient experience of the dementia pathway.

Professor Alistair Burns and Dr Sunil Gupta are confirmed speakers for this event and GPs, Practice Managers, Nurses, Providers and Commissioners are encouraged to attend to explore best practice and innovative models of post-diagnostic care.

Dementia Diagnosis in Primary Care

East and North Hertfordshire and Herts Valleys CCGs, East of England Strategic Clinical Networks and Hertfordshire County Council are hosting this event to support and enable general practices, primary care workers and commissioners to improve dementia diagnosis rates and consider what the priorities for dementia should be for 2015/16.

GPs, practice managers, nurses, commissioners and service providers are encouraged to attend.
